Another Walk in the Woods

Maisie has come for a sleepover tonight. Miss E has been giddy about it - she came bounding in at 7am asking could we go and get her yet.
No. Bugger off.
Not yet darling!
Miss L made her own Nutella on toast and then Mr K took them both to Miss E's swimming so I was fairly redundant and just stayed in bed drinking tea and listening to the radio and going back to sleep. Lovely!
Miss E is enjoying the new lessons so much more. Apparently the lady isn't mean to her. Always a bonus!!
After lunch Mr K headed to Bicester with the Little Misses to collect Maisie. I did laundry, washing up and tried to make a dent in the chaos that is Miss E's room.
All of which was made pretty difficult as I was completely distracted by listening to the football - on TV and radio (so I didn't miss anything as I moved between rooms!)
Watford won and we are top of the league.
Top. Of. The. League.
Oh my goodness!!!
It's not for the faint-hearted this promotion lark though. I had to sit down and abandon the housework!
When the Little Misses got back with Maisie there was a lot of chasing and squealing and runnning around. Poor Maisie!!
I popped to Tescos quickly so they didn't have to have Nutella on toast for dinner and then we took Maisie out for a proper walk in the woods.
And rolling around in the grass. Thankfully all avoiding the cow pats!
Now the three of them are tucked up in Miss E's room. Fast asleep.
Eventually.
We're eating chilli and watching a film.
It was a toss up between No Strings Attached and Interstellar.
Mr K got his way and we're watching the romantic comedy.
Hee hee!!
