Run for Your Life Wallace

When you are just a wee girl, it must have been like being transported into the Land of the Giants (dogs) this afternoon when I introduced Breagha to Oscar, Bosun and Wallace the Newfies. I was proud of her though as she took no nonsense from these rufty, tufty boys. After initially trying to run from them she realised if she barked and acted all tough, then they started running from her, as you can see Wallace is scarpering for his life.

Earlier, she acted even braver when a cold caller, a young lade a bit gypsey like, arrived at the door, no identification, offering me a free quote to replace roof tiles. Well the living room door next to the front door was not shut properly and she dived out at him. He jumped back, as this lunatic, snarling, barking, foaming at the mouth beast, launched herself at him. I had to lift her up but she was still snarling at him. (Maybe it was the big holed ear-rings she took a dislike to!). "GOOD LUCK with that one" he shouted as he took off up the path. Thanks Breagha, she's a great deterrant for these annoying folk, and that includes the Jehovahs. They certainly don't like dogs! LOL!! (Not being nasty but they are a pest)!

Spent a nice morning chatting and eating Norwegian cake (Jane it was awesome - bet this is one you have NEVER tasted!!) and a cuppa with Alan, our up the road neighbour.

Although Scotland is not as Jubilee crazy as parts of England, there is a big parade with1000 pipers marching, A Kilt Run, Mass Pipe Bands (not marching) a Main Stage with festivities choirs, big bands, fiddles, brass (so it will be bloody noisy) on the North Inch tomorrow and Cambo Whambo is on parade with the rest of his Beaver colony. Just remembered I have not sewn on the 3 badges he got on Monday (naughty Nana). Well loads of local kids groups are all marching. How exciting for them. Their wee faces will be a picture. Can't wait to see them all.
