One Sea Swallow Doesn't Make A Summer

It has been bitterly cold in Essex today with a biting east wind. I have been at my sister's in Burnham-on-Crouch and once we had dealt with our family business I went for a walk down by the river.

I was delighted to see a pair of terns wheeling over the yacht harbour and got a few shots. Then the pair settled on a pontoon and wouldn't budge again. Maybe they are tired after having flown all the way from Africa?
