Something fishy going on!!!!

I have also posted Monday's Blip First baby Sparrow this year! ...... do hope you will have a look :-)

We got all the jobs done this morning ........ then went for a trip to RSPB Frampton Marsh this afternoon.

It was lovely & sunny .... but it was blowing a gale!!! So we headed to the hide.

We saw all the 'usual suspects' such as geese, swans, ducks etc ....... we also saw Skylarks, Lapwings,  Avocets & Black-tailed Godwit. Also this beautiful Great Crested Grebe ....... who was kind enough to surface with a fish in its beak close to the hide :-)

The most exciting thing was that for the first time we saw a Ruff & Reeve!!!!! The only pity was that they were too far away to be able to get a decent shot! But at least we managed to watch them through the binoculars!!! A great afternoon :-)

We also really enjoyed our meal out this evening :-)
