Space to reflect

Sometimes, all you need is a bit of a quiet moment in the back garden, by the pond. The water, still slightly green but clearing now the filter has been cleaned, dances down the waterfall, and the Iris that didn't thrive on the far side are now much happier. 

The heron didn't clean us out, quite, and there are still half a dozen fish in there including two of the fourteen inch ghost koi (you can almost see one of them just to the right of the iris, coming up for breakfast). Also newts, frogs, toads and various minibeasts.

Aside from this there were miles walked again today, and this evening a pre-wedding venture to the village micropub. And, yay!, the rain cleared in time. :-)
