Poppies in the Rain

Surprise. It is raining. Welcome to June in the Great Northwet, as Arvin calls it. ;-) Did a walk around this morning because, another surprise, we have a busy day today. Arvin has an appointment at 2 to get his nails done. Yes, you heard that right. He is a classical guitarist and his natural nails tend to break and are not shaped correctly to easily play. So he gets acrylic nails done by "Nails by Dani" here in town. He and Dani have become fast friends so I think he'd go even if he didn't play the guitar.

Then we have the opening at the Willows at 3:30. I'm looking forward to meeting the folks there and to talking a bit about my paintings. Should be fun.

Then we have... quiet. We are both looking forward to a quiet evening at home. Steve took off this morning for a week in Northern California. He is attending at least one opening of his aquatint etchings and visiting some long time friends. So we won't see him for a week.
