Babies to be fed

The sparrows are busy feeding their first brood of the season. I've been to the cemetery and as we say, decorated the graves for Memorial Day which will be celebrated next Monday. I planted perennial and annuals at the stones of my parents,  grandparents and paternal great grandparents(the maternal ones are buried on the downeast coast of Maine).

Speaking of Maine, my brother and sister-in-law will leave today for an extended weekend trip to Machiasport to open our great grandparent's place there for our shared summer pleasure. We are anxious to see how the house survived the brutal snowy winter.

Off to the May Garden Club meeting soon. I also picked up our flowers to plant the traffic island that T and I do in conjunction with the Hanover Garden Club town beautification program. We'll work on that Sunday morning when the traffic is lighter and it's safer for us. We live on a street and corner that has become so terribly busy .

For the Record,
Today came in sunny and cool.

All hands healing
