Bank holiday blip

Twenty years ago, a Bank Holiday was something for me to get excited about (mainly because I worked in a Bank) but nowadays they don't seem to make much difference to my life.

In honour of the Bank Holiday, I give you two old pieces of paper which, I believe, are worth £1.00 and I would still get that if I took them into a Bank, only not today, as they are on holiday!

I've seen quite a few of the bottom ones in my time but this weekend was the first time I'd seen one with George V on it.
