Another Canal

I just can't seem to stay away from canals, the Trent & Mersey in Staffordshire last week and the Union in Edinburgh today.

We set off early this morning to take #2 Daughter and her partner back to Edinburgh. The first stop was IKEA for an early lunch and some things they needed then to unpack their holiday stuff from the car before doing grocery shopping.

We went out in the evening to the Caley Sample Room and I had the best meal out I have had for a long time - Aubergine, mushroom & chickpea curry with a really nice bottle of Los Espinos Chilean Merlot. The curry was flavourful without burning and the Merlot was very smooth.
