The Turtle Guy

Well now he's actually the turtle and vulture guy, but who's counting? We've seen him frequently. He pops up in parks and other places. Today he was just outside the Farmer's Market in downtown Bellingham. He makes turtles, and now birds, from shells and feathers. He sells them for not a great deal of money which he donates to the Bellingham Food Bank. He is a nice guy who enjoys what he does and helps others at the same time. A good mole waddle, as we call it in our family.

Today Helena is hanging with us. We met her at the Farmer's Market. She lives just a short walk from there. Now she is at our house and she and Arvin are napping. Soon we will all play games and then I'll drive her home.

This evening Arvin and I are having dinner with friends Carroll and Steve (not my brother Steve, but another Steve). Carroll has invited another friend we know through the Guitar Society. It should be a wonderful evening and I'm looking forward to it.

By the way, I had a mini blip meet today with Connections. We happened upon her at the Farmer's Market. We've been missing each other's company and are planning a lunch together soon. Life is good.
