Finally!

I have been wanting to capture one of a pair of frequently visiting Great Spotted Woodpeckers for a while now.  This evening was a fortunate sighting as today has generally been grey and wet so Peter and I decided against our planned walk and spent the morning in the hotel spa instead. What a welcome sighting in the garden at home!
