Kunst

Kunst is the German word for "Art" but also "Synthetic". Today Franz phoned to say he wanted to fertilize one of our horse fields with "Kunstdünger" - Synthetic Fertilizer.

Whenever Franz visits us for whatever reason he always looks around to find things that need to be done. And this was just another case of this. He had recently seen the grass wasn't looking "green" enough for him and so with his dairy farmer," lush green, thick grass" eyes he made the decision for us.

Writing this 10 days after the event, I can't remember what the main ingredients were. Will have to wait 14 days or so before letting the horses on it though.
