Spraying

16.6C and fairly dull with complete cloud cover. Wind to 25 mph with gusts to 32 mph.

Maeve the deerhound was out in the back garden all morning again. I decided to take her for a walk today since it was dull and felt cooler.

Maeve and I went for our walk after lunch. We went up to the church then continued out along the country road to Scryne. We turned right at Craigmill farm and went down the track to the shore road. The farmer was in his tractor spraying the crop in the field to the left of the track as we headed down the hill. We came back along the cycle path and went down to the beach at Westhaven via the level crossing. Spots of rain started falling.

Down on the beach the tide was coming in. It was still raining, although it was very light. Valhalla A  and a smaller boat were moored near the shore. I took Maeve's lead off so I could go out on the rocks to take some photos, and much to my surprise she went paddling in the rock pools.

We came up off the beach at the car park at Westhaven then came back over the road bridge over the railway line and back up the main road and round to home. The rain went off as we walked up the main road.
