Beach Life

Sunshine and blue skies.....hallelujah!!!

We had already decided that if the weather was as forecast, we would go out for a few hours to enjoy it today ......so off we trotted towards the coast, but not before we had watered all the baskets and containers and greenhouse of course!

We got stuck in a crawling traffic jam for quite a while en route, much to hubs annoyance..... which turned out to be nothing more than weight of traffic, leading us to wonder just how busy it was going to be when we got to Crosby beach; where Anthony Gormleys Iron Men stand on guard all along the beach and are swallowed up by the sea as the tide comes in.

We needn't have worried, it wasn't too busy, plenty of space for parking! We didn't even need our fleeces, just tee shirts, a first this year! I took my new toy with us, wide angle Wanda, to see what she could see ;-)

Took lots of shots, plenty going on, fishermen, walkers, some with dogs, cyclists, lifeguards, boats, horses and riders, even sun bathers!

It was a lovely temperature, not too windy and a great sky! :-)

Quiz tonight, hope we improve on last weeks disaster :-/
