Welcoming June...finally!

Dear Diary,

My printer was a bit behind on getting me my June window banner but it is finally here along with Brother Cadfael's inspiring message:

It was a matter of principle, or perhaps of honor, with Brother Cadfael, when a door opened before him suddenly and unexpectedly, to accept the offer and walk through it.

Carpe Diem!  It has always been a primary practice for me.  Sometimes life presents  you with an unexpected opportunity and I welcome it with open arms.  They say that as you age you become more cautious, less spontaneous but I hope to keep Brother Cadfael's words in my heart as I continue this journey for as long as I can.  There is such a joy in discovering new things!
