Daisy Days

What a gorgeous day!!
Miss E had swimming first thing and then we all went to our (hopefully) new house for a bit of measuring. We met Mrs J whose house it currently is and she was so lovely. Incredibly friendly and helpful and so kind to the Little Misses giving them juice and letting them run amok with her dog in the garden.
She's desperate to get to her new house too so there was a lot of mutual reassurance that, as far as we're concerned, it's full steam ahead and we're just waiting for our buyers to pull their finger out get their mortgage sorted.
The Little Misses were thoroughly briefed before we went in that it isn't our house yet and they had to be on their best behaviour.
There may have been a bribe promise of cake at Looby Lu's afterwards!
They were brilliant. And it was amazing to see them in the house and garden. They seemed so at home!
They thoroughly deserved - and enjoyed - their toasties and giant cakes at Looby Lu's.
Proud Mummy moment - as we paid up the owner gave them a cupcake and brownie each saying they were lovely girls.
Mr K went home after stuffing his face to get on with work. I took the Little  Misses to the park for an hour or so. Just gorgeous!
Then it was home to set up the paddling pool. Which is ridiculously massive and took hours to fill.
And then hours to empty so we could move it way from the flowerbed which was swarming with bees.
And then hours to fill again!
While all the filling, emptying and filling was going on I took a load of stuff from the garden to the dump.
And popped to Tesco for pastries.
