Heaven wept...

My MonoMonday entry - curves.  The flower is a simple foxglove, growing in a pot on my patio, decorated in droplets after a heavy rain.  When I looked at this through my lens, I was struck by the delicate curves throughout the image.  

After a rainy start to the day, the sun has appeared and I am going to head out for a little camera therapy.  Today has been a sad day...


Today's entry is dedicated to Biker Bear who lost her beloved mother and fellow-blipper Alma last night.  Anni sent me a note early this morning with the awful news and it seemed like the skies were crying too as the rain poured down.    There are no words that can lessen the pain that comes from losing someone we love ... but friendship and love can help ease the burden.  So this is for Anni.
