Holiday

Today got off to a lovely lazy start. Tea, magazines, cake, no children, no need to get out of bed. Bliss!
We eventually managed to drag ourselves out by Noon and went into Kendal for a browse round a lovely little antiques shop, dozens of charity shops, Gregs and the pharmacy.
We ended up with a very impressive haul of jackets, coats, interview outfits, books, CDs, bowls, trays, Deep Heat, Ibuprofen gel, heat pads, sausage rolls, iced buns, moisturiser, spaghetti jars and wicker bottles.
After all that exhausting activity we drove to Windermere for lunch in Lakeland. Cumberland sausages and mash, yummy!
I managed to resist all the gadgets and Tupperware and left with just a set of beautiful coloured glass tealight holders for our new garden. They reminded me of these which were outside the yurt Miss K and I stayed at a few years ago on our first trip up to the Great North Swim.
We went next door to the wonderful Booth's supermarket to stock up on a few more goodies - because we haven't eaten enough for the last few days - and then went back to the hotel.
Where we continued eating, reading magazines, drinking tea and watching terrible Saturday night TV.
Just brilliant!!
