Focus on Anna

Today was Sports' Day and for the last few days I have been slightly dreading how hard it would be to be there without Jackson participating. He loves sport, he loves Sports' Day and this would have been his last one at Primary School. And there was one moment during the inter-house relay race that I had a little wobble.  But that aside I focused all of my attention on this little one and all her races and events and being with her class at the picnic afterwards and I actually had a good time. Anna didn't stop beaming the whole time, and not just when she won this ribbon for the skipping race.  And bigger picture one missed Sports' Day is not what is important.  

Had it not been focus on Anna it probably would have been the pup with the inflatable collar following the successful removal of the possibility of any future little Albis.  Sad in a way but the only real option for us, especially with our trip to Spain looming - huge relief not to have to worry about potential holiday romances with inappropriate strays...
