An ordinary life....

Gin and Tonic Cupcakes!

Baked by Dr Twitcher.  No idea why she thought I would like these ;-)))

Despite not getting to bed till after 2am, was up bright and breezy by 8.30 (despite our late night, we didn't actually drink that much, too busy blethering and laughing!) and downstairs just after 9.30.

We all indulged in a cooked breakfast followed by a slice of LeeAnne's amazing banana choc chip cake.   Sooooo yummy!

Before leaving Elf said hello to Alan and presented him with a fantastic Elf tshirt (it shall be blipped at some point :) and got a wee smile in return.  Minutes later LeeAnne presented him with a poster of a very attractive, if rather scantily clad woman, which got a much more appreciative response.  Hahahahaha....sorry Elf, close but no cigar!  :-))   this poster also hangs in his bedroom courtesy of LeeAnne.   Is it any wonder he adores her??!!

After the girls left, David went to the driving range (well it is Father's Day :) and I tidied up and gave Alan lunch.  When D returned he got his Father's Day pressie from Alan (personalised bags for golf balls and tees and a tee-shirt (hahaha no pun intended)  He seems happy with those.

Used Father's Day as an excuse for a leisurely afternoon, with coffee and one of Dr T's cupcakes to keep up going till dinner.

And that's the weekend!

Weekend starts here :-))

PS Just want to note, today is the longest day and as yet we have still to put the cushions on our garden chairs, sit outside for longer than 10 minutes, have a BBQ or eat dinner outside.   Good old Scottish summer time!!!
