Bubble Closer

Today I was lucky enough to spend the day on a photo course which was a pressie from Wife. This is kind of a double gift as I get to spend the day with the camera and also get a break from parental duties.

The course was specialising in close up photography and was down at the Old Dockyard which was a good place to find subject matter. Everyone else on the course seemed to take lots (in some cases hundreds) of pictures of flowers whilst typically I took pictures of rubbish on the floor. Flowers are so boring, especially when you end up reviewing hundreds of them looking for examples. That said there were some very good ones, even if they were boring flowers.

As for the rest of the family, well they had even more fun. They went to an Alice in Wonderland party. Girl won musical statues and pass the parcel winning a T-shirt and a book. Mind you she needn't have needed to win given the high standard of the party bags. The bags themselves were mini tote bage with Wonderland images on containing some great stuff as well as the obligatory eat me cakes. Added to this all girls got some bunny ears and all boys get a top hat to take home.

Boy insisted on wearing a skirt to the party. He looked quite a treat in it along with his top hat.
