Not a good day for a caterpillar

Look away now if you are a caterpillar. 

This caterpillar wasn't looking when the first wasp came along and took a munch on his head. I guess by the time the other wasp saw what was on offer it was past caring. It was however slightly gruesome to watch, however much one knows about nature being red in tooth and claw (except where it's black and yellow stripes!). 

I've saved you from the main tug-of-war event, when the caterpillar parted in the middle. Me so good.
