Torrent

After the heavy overnight rain, the Massan burn was fairly thundering through its gorge this afternoon. I slithered down the muddy track to the rocks to take this, drawn by the noise of the water; it was so great that we kept thinking there was a lorry coming up behind us on the road. 

Note to weather-god: I wouldn't mind a boring trickle in the burns for a bit, really I wouldn't ...
