Marjorie's ramblings

Geranium Patricia

Back home from the Howgills today. It's been a cool, grey, rainy day but the roads were not too busy for the journey.

So today has been about catching up with events at home. Then the occupational therapist came to see how Mum is getting on. Hopefully some positive changes will make life easier.

I'm still on Cloud 9 after walking 20 miles over the weekend. My bubble was popped when I went for the weigh in at Slimming World. I had not been able to keep to my diet very well in the Howgills, but who would have thought that a few glasses of white wine contained so many calories?!, was disappointed to have gained half a pound. Could have been worse.

Back home to the garden after the rain. The perfume of the mock orange is still gorgeous and the colour of the geraniums is intense in the low light. This is Geranium Patricia.  It's very similar to Geranium Pstilostemon which we also have.
