Bit of a difficult day...

Car MOT today, and it failed somewhat spectacularly..... needing a further £300 of work on top of the £180 I had already paid to have the ABS fixed!
Still no point sulking over things you can't change....but it does mean I will have to be without my car till Monday when it can be fixed :-(
All the waiting around did however mean I had no time at all much to look for a blip, and when I did have time it started raining!
This is the common but beautiful hoverfly  Myathropia florae, and this is a female. I love these hovers, they are so bright and cheerful, and today this one really lifted my spirits!
