Doon the watter

I  drove into  Dunoon at lunchtime in order to let Cailean (who had been with us for the last couple of nights) catch the ferry so that he could get to Edinburgh for  mid afternoon.

Although it was grey and misty on the Clyde, the Waverley , the world's last sea going paddle steamer, was  going doon the watter  and I managed to get this picture of it passing one of the navigation bouys just along from the Cloch.

I would have got an earlier picture as she passed the lighthouse or the Gantocks but a constituent stopped me to talk about a problem with which I had been helping her  some years ago and constituents always come first !
