Early Morning on the Potomac

We got up early so my husband could run another segment of the canal before it became too hot.  The section where I waited for him had a boat launch area and access to the river.  The early morning light on the river was just magical.

It was a successful weekend in spite of yesterday's glitch, and he completed another 12 miles and now only has 71 miles to go.
