It's Black Cat Appreciation Day!

Yes, Mystère, I appreciate you every day. Perhaps rather less so when you leapt off the table and sank all those claws into my ankle just after I took this photo. A less enthusiastic pose in the extra.

To my amazement, when I hesitantly approached my Macbook this morning, it was sitting perkily at the login screen. So I logged in, and lo and behold my familiar desktop appeared. To say I was gobsmacked is an understatement. There are still a few minor glitches, but by and large all seems well, and if I've lost any data it isn't obvious. So perhaps a Mac Appreciation Day is in order.
