Hairy Chested Grasshopper

Not much time for togging today and when I did get the chance it was late, dull and windy. Not ideal for macro. This common field grasshopper landed at my feet on a yarrow plant. I bent down and took quite a few shots. It might be my imagination but it seemed to respond to the autofocus chirrup of my camera. I talked to it for ages which made Jazzy dog quite jealous. :)

Its hairy chin can be seen in my pic, it's got an even hairier chest. Its tombstone 'teeth' are ideal for chomping through the grass that it lives on.
