" JUST ONE LOOK, THAT'S ALL IT TOOK "

Went looking for a Clematis and this one immediately caught my eye.  I have had to plant it in a pot as the position I wanted it in the garden, the ground is interrupted by wall foundations.  It is called Daniel Deronda and it looks fantastic against the yellow wall at the front of our new garden.

I have also had to take a photo of a large pile of dog 'mess' which has been left on our front area.  I plan to print the picture and leave it 'advertised' in the local shop. It is time to stand up and be counted!!!

Today has been rather frustrating as we had to spend the majority of the day waiting for our local 'drain man' to fix a problem in one of our downstairs bathrooms.  It seems that when the house was improved, the bathroom was done by a bunch of cowboys and the pipes were not fitted properly.  There has been water leaking for some time and has been building up, so  yet another bill for our Landlord.  Also the panelling will have to be replaced under the fitted cupboards as it has absorbed the 'foul' water. Just glad it wasn't repaired while Matthew was here!

Did our week's shopping late in Truro, such a lovely city.  If you ever get the chance to visit, you will not be disappointed.

Thankyou for the kind comments on yesterday's anonymous rose.  Almost the weekend, so hope Friday is kind to you all.  Sending hugs. xxx
