Textile art

I love the fine detail on this small piece of mum's embroidery, but there were lots to choose from - felt pieces, tapestry work and then there are boxes of brightly coloured threads, all neatly wound around pieces of card and displayed in shoe boxes.  My son has gathered together some wonderful memories and written an amazing eulogy and I'm busy trying to gather together images so that I can include them in a remembrance card for the funeral.

The light and mist were very atmospheric after the thunderstorms of the previous evening and I've managed one or two photos that were a bit more atmospheric on my walk.  I varied the route this time and came back down the hill via Wellhouses - something I haven't done for some time.
