Sammy the Seal

TT was back from his travels this morning.  We picked him up at a nearby railway station at 9.30am, which was much more civilised than having to get up early to be at the airport.  After a brief sojourn at home, it was then off to Cockenzie for BB’s football.  He insisted that TT should go to football, so we all went but I a wander round Cockenzie and Port Seton harbours.  I got back near the end of the match and BB wasn’t happy as his team hadn’t played well.

Once home TT emptied his case and the washing machine went into overdrive.  He brought BB a new Chinese badminton racquet and he was delighted.  I am delighted with the freebie gin he brought from his flight!

After lunch, we headed to Belhaven Bay only to find the tide in, so there was no beach for BB and TT to kick a ball on.  We headed into Dunbar and did the same route and activities that BB and I did last Saturday. No fish and chips though as TT volunteered to make a curry.

In other news, I have at last finished back-blipping our Norfolk holiday.  If you can bear to look at my holiday snaps, they start here and go on for two weeks – until the cabbage!

Here is “Sammy” the seal in Dunbar harbour.  He was playing to the crowd today.  Following on from yesterday's blip, the extra is of Cockenzie power station - which is now a skeleton of its former self.
