A walk through the woods

There's something new at the Holden Arboretum. My blip today shows part of the Canopy Walk, one of the two brand new features that opened this week at the Arboretum. Both features together cost $1.3 million and are part of a $9 million expansion of the Arboretum. If you would like to see more pictures of the Canopy Walk and the 120 high Emergent Tower, click here. They are going to be quite an adventure, and I plan to go back later this week and attempt to climb the tower. Check my blips this week to see if I make it!

Today's extra picture shows the Emergent Tower, so called because when you reach the top, you emerge above the tree tops and have a 360-degree view of the surrounding countryside, including Lake Erie, from 120 feet above the forest floor.
