The Girl in the Window

Another trip to John Lewis, another chat with the girl in the window!
She makes something of a habit of it!!
She was obviously missing Miss E this morning. It's so unusual for them to be apart when they're not at school!
We had a lovely couple of hours before Mr K got up watching Octonauts - her choice on TV which is a rare treat!!
We snuggled and cuddled and tickled and giggled and it was wonderful. She is a delight!
Realising the time I sent her in to shout at Mr K wake Daddy up gently and then we headed off to Milton Keynes for lunch at John Lewis, a bow tie purchase and a half hour dither in front of the pocket money toys for Miss L. She plumped for a make up set in the end. Pink and glittery - very low key and natural!!!
From there we headed to Halfords to politely enquire why we'd heard nothing about my bike which we ordered on August 23rd!! A very flustered apologetic boy behind the till clearly wished he hadn't asked me if I needed any help. He said the order had been cancelled for some reason but he'd order it again for me now. Only now the bike costs £449.
Er no, I ordered it at half price and I'd like it at half price please.
Eventually all was sorted and fingers crossed it will be there on Wednesday.
Miss E had a fabulous time with Miss T.
They loved Strictly last night and spent the whole time dancing together and getting progressively more and more excited and squealy! Brilliant!!
When we got there they were out in the garden playing with the guinea pigs. Miss E didn't want to leave!!
They've known each other since they were three and it's wonderful seeing them growing up together. Lovely girls!
