It's official -- summer is here!

I had so many photos to choose from today, but this one chose itself as a perfect representation of summer days in our village. Straight out of the camera, no messing.

Today was the official launch of the brochure of summer events in the village -- designed by S, who wasn't here to take the credit, as he is still sous la pluie in the UK. There's only one way to launch things here, and it involves bandas, plenty of wine, and little nibbles to eat. It started at 11 am, and as I write this at 2 pm, the hardiest souls have only just got into their first rendition of Se Canto, so it's going to last a while yet :) Note, the performance in the video is rather more polished than is usually the case at social gatherings :)
