Pretty moth

Used my lunchtime to walk down to the local water garden centre to buy more oxygenators for the new pond. There's a bit of algae appearing so I'm hoping that some fast growing oxygenators will use up all the nutrients and halt the algae. We've also put a small barley straw bale in to try and stop any further algae growth. Few chances for photos on the way - I was struggling to get back in time. I'm really breathless at the moment after last week's cold (asthma tendency strikes back) and couldn't walk at my usual fast pace. I'm hoping to get new inhalers from the doctor over the weekend and should be a new woman by next week. Husband and colleagues will also be pleased if my nasty old man's cough disappears too!

This moth was sitting on the glass back door. It had some lovely tapestry-like wings. Looks like it is Pyrausta purpuralis or Pyrausta aurata according to the UK moths website.
