Chestnuts!

Thanks so much for all the lovely comments, hearts and stars for  yesterday's Goldcrest, it's been hopping back and forth between pages 1 and 2 of Popular all day. I'm absolutely thrilled! :-)


The weather's been sunny with big fluffy clouds and that same cold northeasterly wind. I think we've got showers forecast tomorrow. :-(

I went out for an early morning walk hoping to catch some wildlife. It was just after sunrise and instead of enjoying the 'golden hour', I took the more familiar route and ended up in the 'poor light hour' instead. Next time I will turn right instead of left! I did get a nice sun flare though!

I've put some extras on today of open chestnut cases still on the tree as they looked pretty in the light.
