A Garden Treasure

We have discovered yet another garden treasure. In the last few days the American Dogwood tree has burst into flower. These trees were new to me until some years ago when I came across some in flower alongside a road miles from anywhere in the Marlborough Sounds. So I am delighted to have one growing in our garden. The white flowers look lovely growing next to a red camellia tree.
