Sunset at 20,000ft

One school of thought holds that in an ever expanding universe anything becomes not just possible but eventually must happen. And so it would seem as today we arrived at Manchester Airport, parked the car, stepped straight on to the shuttle, walked into the airport, straight to check-in, dropped off a bag & then walked straight through security without a pause - from slamming the car boot to sipping coffee & fizz was 16minutes - we were a bit dazed by it all!

Leaving Manchester in torrential rain the plane climbed up into a beautiful ethereal world, as we banked towards Paris the sight of the sunsetting through the clouds had everyone reaching for phones and cameras, knowing we'd land in Geneva in the dark I was no different. Hopefully the fantastic clear skies we've arrived to will hold - but my oh my its cold!
