Lido Day

Making the most of our 3 day vaporetto passes we decided to head over to the island Lido.  Again very different.  Being out of season we more or less had the beach to ourselves.  Coming back on the vaporetto gave us the opportunity to see the Doge's Palace and St Mark's Square from a distance and without being crushed.  What a stunning place.
