Halloween

A day early, but never mind.,

That's twice this week I've found a jumping spider in the garden.  I was out there watering the roses this morning and spotted this little fellow on a rose leaf.

Again, never seen one before.  It's bigger than the one the other day, at least as long as my little finger nail, so still quite tiny.  His eyes glowed like headlamps, but you couldn't really see them except through the camera.

I suspect it's the same species that Jen blipped a couple of days ago; my second image is of the complete spider, you  can even see the knuckle joints in his handsome stripped legs.
