comfort food

Another uneventful day.

I suppose that was one of the attractions of the Ghana trip - escape from the routine. It certainly worked well at that level!

A real November day as well. Short. Foggy. Damp.

I decided dinner might have to be the day's highlight. The chicken curry was good, but nothing unusual. The rice was a pilaff, made with cardamom (green), cloves and a star anise. Delicious.

Junior ate with me, so don't worry - I didn't scoff all that on my own.
