Spider and the Fly

I have had a wonderful day at Blenheim Palace with fellow blippers AnnieandChris, MartinN, HelenJG and MatthewHicks.  Despite the terrible weather forecast, the day 'turned out nice again' and we had a wonderful afternoon walking round the grounds.

Many photographs later we decided that the tea shop seemed very appealing!  Crossing the main entrance, there was clearly something 'about to happen'!  we waited and a cavalcade of very expensive cars soon arrived.  Several million pounds worth of cars!  The drivers and companions were guests at a dinner in the Palace that evening and staying over - one was heard to comment...'not a bad B&B'!  One of the Porches cars had been a birthday present for the young and beautiful recipient - how the other half live!

The guests would, apparently, want to go to their rooms and chill out for a bit - no doubt with a bottle of expensive champagne!  We offered our services as event photographers but that had already been sorted!

Blenheim Palace is a beautiful place and, as it's only a 50 minute drive for me I will return.  Anyone want to join me - the cake in the teashop is very good!
