Malham Day Two

It rained today and the wind blew and it rained. Photography of the limestone pavements near the Ribblehead viaduct defeated us after 30 minutes. It was so very wet and hard to keep the camera lens clear of raindrops.

We repaired to the local pub for tea and coffee.

On our way back towards Malham for lunch and an indoor processing session, the weather cleared and we were able to go into the weird and wonderful world of the Norber glacial erratics. Both my images are from there. We had some excellent light along with intermittent rain.

We came back to Malham for a late lunch at our hotel that advertises "food all day" or "lunch from 12 - 3". Neither was true. To make it worse the staff could not suggest anywhere we could go to eat. The very nice pub across the road served us with a good lunch!

We had an excellent processing session to round off the day and then waited nearly an hour from ordering to being served our meal. I suspect that this place is going to lose future custom.

I'm loving the workshop and have learned such a lot already. The forecast is better for tomorrow.
