Another day, another city (or two)

Bonus points for anyone who guesses today's abstract - answer tomorrow.


After yesterday's meetings in London it was the tube to St Pancras (another wonderful mix of old & new architecture) grab a coffee & onto a train* North to Sheffield (UK climbing's spiritual home) for another very productive meeting & a lovely chance encounter with some old friends. Awesome Walls kept us excellently catered with coffee, cake & a delightful eastern meze - and the personalised taxi service to & from the station was much appreciated.
Then it was over to Manchester for a brief but informative coffee meeting - one look at the freezing rainy streets of my once home city left me quite happy to sit in another train station coffee shop using their WiFi.
Then a final train home. A long couple of days, but lots done, lots of friends laughed with & only a little cake eaten.

* turns out all trains are most definitely not the same, travelling up the East side of the country left me very grateful for Virgin's West coast operation.
