Sunday lunch

Half way through the year and it still feels like winter. will summer ever come?

6 of us at choir this morning which was challenging as being Communion we had two anthems to master in an hour, and it was freezing.

The mid afternoon walk over the Meadows, under a threatening sky, with #2 son was enlivened by the sight of a whole crowd of young men playing rugby in their , underpants (and trainers). Lady F got a great view from the Dower House.

We were heading off to a very late lunch en famille at 'Angels with Bagpipes'. #3 son was working so missed out. #1 son is off tomorrow evening and flies out of Brize on Tuesday morning. I'm hoping to catch up with #1 d in l in London before she flies back to KL on Thursday night. It's been great seeing them, but too short.

I'm stappit fu', for the second day running, so no cooking tonight. Watched the highlights of Le Tour. Now that ITV4 is a' favourite' I'll be able to keep up.

For some reason I'm really tired. Is this age catching up, too much food, or discovering that I can get Alibi and watch late night reruns of 'New Tricks' (so old not even on widescreen) and Taggart!

The jungle has gone. The grass has been cut. Now I just need to get in about the weeds.
