Dressed up in Pink

I am in plaster .. After a seven hour wait at the hospital today.  First of all my GPs letter wasn't there so they had to contact her to get it send again.  I was seen by a junior doctor who was shocked for how long I had been withoaut anything done. She did say she never seen a brake like this before as it was rare. After consulting with a specialist it was decided I had to be totally immobilized.

Because of my bad right knee I couldn't use crutches. So I am in a wheelchair and ues a walker for short distances, for the next six weeks. We have stairs and because of that I have to sleep on the couch until I can get a bed. I need a single bed for the house in Akaroa so we will go out tomorrow and buy one.

I well have a person come and shower me three times a week and she will help me up the stairs. I have to go up on my bottom but at the top I need help to get up from the top step.

So all fun and games ..just hope I don't go too mad.  John can look after himself ok but not too sure how much care I may get.  I hopefully will not run out of photos to take from my chair for my blip for the next six weeks!

Rather than feeling in the pink,  I am feeling rather blue
