Photobomb!

Back at Centerparcs, woohoo!!!
And the obligatory counter shot on arrival!! I thought the chalks looked ace against the black granite and would make a good Blip. Miss E had other ideas and jumped in just as I pressed the shutter. She thought it was hilarious and had to be my Blip. Who am I to argue?!!
We had a couple of hours tidying up and packing this morning.
God forbid we ever pack more than half an hour before go on holiday!!
But Centerparcs is only about half an hour from our house so we still got here before Noon. Picked up bikes for me and Mr K and then headed to The Pancake house for a healthy lunch (see extras)
I resisted the Nutella, Maltesers, cream, chocolate ice-cream, flakes and honeycomb and opted for a vegetable omelette. Polishes halo!!!
From there it was to the pool. It was so lovely all cycling along together. Last year Miss L was on a balance bike so this is her first year with a proper bike and she loves it. They both zoom along like maniacs! And we may have to work on some road awareness as there were a few near misses. Cars, pedestrians, other cyclists - no-one was safe!!
And there was one ridiculous incident where Miss L went speeding into the barrier by the lake and both Mr K and I were convinced there was going to be a comedy catapulting over the barrier and headfirst into the lake. Thankfully she somehow got away with just falling off to the side!
We had a great afternoon in the pool. Loads of swimming, paddling, splashing, drifting in lazy rivers, sliding down slides.
Miss L was distraught that they've changed the minimum height requirement on one of the giant slides where we all go down in an inflatable ring and she can't go on it now. But she was happy to go on the rapids outside and thankfully cheered up! Miss E was only 1cm from being too short so goodness knows what happened to make them change it so dramatically.
Eventually wrinkled and tired we got out and biked back to our lovely house. Mr K did his usual sterling work going to get the car, unpacking it and taking it back to the car park. All in the pitch dark pouring rain!
Dinner was hot dogs and beans.
A few chapters of a book for each of the Little Misses and then it was to sleep with them.
Mr K and I ate peanut M&Ms and kettle crisps in front of a lovely roaring fire. Takes off halo.
He'd sneakily bought them in the shop earlier and made me eat them!!
