Celebrations!!

Well, Mum has finally sat down to relax with me!! (See yesterday's blip) Although it could have happened sooner if she hadn't done all that ironing! Mum said it was her goal to finish the ironing before the end of the year!

In the first picture we are enjoying a little New Years Eve feast - including some cheesy bits for me! Then we watched a movie, and I have to be honest - it was nice, but I fell asleep!! THIS is how we like to spend New Years Eve!

Anyway - Mum has been thinking about our year. She said that if she was honest, it was not an easy one - BUT - going back through blipfoto helps her to remember all the good times and events!! Time with friends, a new kitchen, a holiday in Iceland, 3 visits to relatives in Michigan, finding long lost friends, a new friendly church, lots of beautiful walks, 2 camping trips, meeting and serving Prince Harry, mum's 30-year anniversary at work, and many more! But most of all, we are BOTH happy about lovely new friends from the blipfoto community! We are truly blessed and have much to be thankful for!!

So...to everyone, whether you are reading this tonight, New Years Eve - or tomorrow - New Years Day - we hope and pray that you can also find much to be thankful for from 2015. And we wish you a very Happy New Year! Thanks for reading our journal and for being our friends!
