Marjorie's ramblings

Let's shake hands

Margret (next door) had a small tumour removed from her left hand on Thursday. The dressing needed to be changed, so she came to my makeshift dressing clinic today. Mum still needs a dressing over her wounds and has to wear a little splint all day to stop her from bending her fingers too far and spoiling the operation.

Margret decided they should gently shake hands with their wounded hands so I grabbed the camera.  Both have very thin, fragile skin that takes a long time to heal so they have to be sensible for a while. They both follow my blips so they will read this!!

Maureen and Brian dropped in on their way to Haltwhistle from Belford where they had celebrated New Year, Tyrolean style. (Sounds very funny.)

I took Mum to Hexham this afternoon to see our friends Peter and Jenny on Peter's birthday. He has been very ill recently and is not long back from intensive care in the USA. They were out..........
